The following summary is of the preview and interview with Associate Producer Gary Conti which can be found in Issue 11 of 360 Gamer which is only available in the UK.

The preview of Star Trek: Legacy notes that seven versions of the Enterprise will feature in the game. Presumably this means the following ships;

• Enterprise NX-01
• USS Enterprise NCC-1701
• USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A
• USS Enterprise NCC-1701-B
• USS Enterprise NCC-1701-C
• USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D
• USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E

The original story for Legacy will interlace events seen in the series and movies. In Deathmatch players will be able to select any era ships for battle. Also, the AI will take appropriate measures to allocate power and to move to more strategic positions during a battle.

In the magazine confimation comes that Mad Doc will be developing extra content for the game sometime after its release. The preview also has background information for gamers that may not be familiar with Star Trek. Such as the various series and main races that will feature in the game.

It will be possible to have more than one outcome to the familiar mission scenarios like the Wrath of Khan and the single player campaign promises to have recognisable characters, ships and locations from the series.
