[edit] Star Trek: Armada

Poug
Note: The Ferengi are NPC (non player controlled) in Star Trek: Armada

Originally from the planet Ferenginar, the interstellar civilisation of the Ferengi has come to dominate galactic trade routes with their highly evolved form of capitalism. Bound to a strict code of honour known as the Rules of Acquisition, Ferengi traders have become an inescapable part of Federation commerce. Interested in galactic politics only inasmuch as they might increase their profits, the Ferengi actively trade with any worlds or civilisations that might expand their sphere of economic influence.

Derelict ships will attract Ferengi scavenger ships, who will attempt to take the ships for their parts.
