[edit] Star Trek: Birth of the Federation[edit] Class I DestroyerThe Miranda Class escort is often seen accompanying Oberth Class scout vessels. It is built for combat, with good shields and respectable armament. The Miranda is best used to discourage raids and other minor border incursions.
[edit] Class II DestroyerThe improved Miranda Class light escort is faster and a better armed version than the original. With its larger engines it can respond more quickly to enemy incursion. The upgraded Miranda's superior weapons, shields and targeting systems greatly improve it combat.
