In 2001 Fleet Ops and Planet STArmada which both covered the upcoming game Star Trek: Armada II merged to form Armada Universe. In late 2002 there was the birh of Trek Universe Network. Armada Universe was the first site in this network of Star Trek Game related sites, it was soon followed by Shattered Universe.

Over the past few years Trek Universe Network was renamed to the more appropriate 'Star Trek Gaming Universe' and more sites and resources for the community have been created. This Star Trek Games Wiki is just one of three Wiki's and one of more than half a dozen sites which make up this network.
