The Terran Empire is Starfleet's counterpart in a hostile mirror universe, first discovered by Captain Kirk of the USS Enterprise in 2267. A Constitution class Terran ship was transported to the dampening field of The Forge where the crew joined forces with Klingon, Malon and Hirogen vessels, raiding ships in the area for supplies. The Terran crew captured Ensign Telsia Murphy during the USS Voyager's Hazard Team mission to infiltrate the scavenger base for sources of Isodesium, and Ensign Munro disguised himself as a Terran Empire officer to rescue her. When his cover was blown, Munro was forced to kill the Terran captain in order to escape from the base.
