Vor'cha Class

From Star Trek Game Information

Contents

[edit] Star Trek: Armada

This Klingon cruiser compliments the Klingon Imperial Fleet with both its formidable phasers and cloaking capability. For the past fifty years the Vor'cha has steadily replaced the Bird of Prey as the most abundant ship in the Defence Force. The Vor'cha continues to be an essential part of the Klingon fleet, used for missions that require stealth or offensive strength.

Poleron Torpedo: The Poleron Torpedo was modified from Dominion technology with the help of Federation engineers. The Vor'cha can be upgraded with Poleron Torpedoes that can pierce through the shields of an enemy and directly damage the hull and ships' systems.

[edit] Star Trek: Bridge Commander

Heavy Cruiser employed by the Klingon Defense Force. Vor'cha-class vessels are among the largest an most powerful ships in the Imperial Fleet, though they are not nearly as powerful as the Negh'Var Class. Originally built as a failed attempt to gain superiority over the Federation, the Vor'cha-class later proved to be a valuable command ship against the Dominion.Klingon High Council leader K'mpec used a Vor'cha-class attack cruiser in 2367, entreating Cpt. Jean-Luc Picard to serve as Arbiter of Succession after his death. In 2372, a Vor'cha-class Attack Cruiser attacked the Defiant, commanded by Cpt. Sisko, while en route to Cardassia Prime in an attempt to rescue Gul Dukat and the Depeta Council. The Attack Cruiser pursued the Defiant all the way back to Deep Space Nine.
